SHORT TERM AND LONG TERM MISSION OPPORTUNITIES

  • Wheels for the World. Wheelchairs are collected by volunteers across the US and sent to 17 correctional facilities in the US, where trained inmates make them like new while they experience the Gospel. Field Ministries organize local short-term mission teams; and in alliance with US churches and Christian organizations overseas, they deliver and fit restored wheelchairs to the disabled while communicating the Gospel to them, their families, friends, and neighbors.

Capturing the passion, giftedness, and calling of God upon those who desire to minister to families affected by disability, this program provides the avenue for Friends to become self-supporting "missionaries" or "Christian workers" to the disability community, both here and abroad.
